Ahhh, grape hyacinths, so cheerful in the morning sun, with a fragrance straight from Heaven.

When walking down by the Fraser River with Karen and Jersey, I just had to take the picture of these rooflines.  I wondered if the condos in the front row had their rooves put on the wrong way around.

Signs of Spring

The torrential rain today reminded me of just how much I enjoy warm sunshine.  Sunday afternoon was brilliant. The garden was filled with evidences of new life.  This is such a hopeful time of year!

The Joy of a warm sunny day

   I was out walking early this morning.  It was cold drizzly and miserable. When I got home around noon I was greeted by a feast for the eyes in the form of dozens and dozens of crocus blooms. 

A warm sunny day and the bright rainbow of colours put a spring in my step, in a way that was not available in the cold, gray rain of morning. The joy of a warm sunny day, was just the gift I needed today.
