When you zoom in on the center of the flower, there is a ring of tiny flower-like parts in the middle. Flowers within a flower.

Something in the compost....

When I went out to dump the compost, I found some beautiful strange mushrooms growing there.  So, of course, I went back to the house for my camera.  Have a look at these wonders.  I have never seen anything like them.  Have you?
